“Back From The Dead” Mains, nominated for BFS Award

Back From The Dead, edited by Johnny Mains and published by Noose & Gibbet Press, has been nominated for the British Fantasy Society award for Best Anthology. The anthology was a tribute to the legendary Pan Horror Anthologies and as well as some new stories by living Pan authors contained a few of the old classics selected by mega fan Johnny Mains.

The short list includes:

Back From The Dead: The Legacy Of The Pan Book Of Horror Stories – Johnny Mains – Noose & Gibbet
End of the Line, The – Jonathan Oliver – Solaris
Mammoth Book of Best New Horror Volume 21, The – Stephen Jones – Robinson & Constable
Never Again – Allyson Bird & Joel Lane – Gray Friar
Zombie Apocalypse! – Stephen Jones – Robinson & Constable

I first noticed this on David A Riley’s site – a fellow Pan author who has  an excellent story in Back From The Dead.  I’m equally chuffed. It’s well deserved recognition not least for  the research and work that went into it.
